Odyssey: A Long Wandering and Eventful Journey

           We were really lucky since we were involved in Malaysia Pholythenic English Festival (MPEF) on August 26-28 2019 hosted by PTSB. MPEF is an English competition which there are five categories, namely, public speaking, scrabble, spelling bee, news casting, and storytelling competed by students among Polythenic in Malaysia. The opening ceremony was held on August 26 th 2019 in Dewan Kuliah Utama (DKU) attended by participants, committees, accompanying lecturers, and officers. Top Management of PTSB and Students Exchange from Bali, Padang, and Thailand We arrived at 11 PM at PTSB Hostel. The room was really neat, and they were generous giving us many stuffs which it was beyond our expectation.   We felt comfortable and loved how they treated us. In the next morning, we started our journey by having breakfast at PTSB canteen with lecturers (Ms. Yusma, Ms. Azhani, Ms. Juliah, Mr. Nara), buddies, and the other exchange students. Without any bashfulness, we sat together laughing, having small conversation and eating the most popular food in Malaysia, Nasi Lemak, some traditional cakes, and hot tea. Despite the distance, we felt like home since the lectures and the buddies are really humble, lovely, and friendly.   After eating, we were most welcomed by PTSB top management. Senja mengantarkan, bukan menidurkan Tibalah aku di titik ini, tanpa penyesalan satupun, hanya rasa syukur yang terus terucap menjelang tidur malamku. Aku selalu melihat ke belakang, bukan hanya untuk menyesali aksi, tetapi mencoba untuk menggali apa yang sebenarnya bisa dikasihi. Tentu jalan ini bukan kehendakku. Seratus persen aku yakini ini bukan pilihanku. Marah meletup-letup tiada henti, berat mengawali hari yang berputar begitu lamban, dan uring-uringan tak tentu arah. Rasanya ingin sekali melangkah ke tempat yang aku sukai, hanya itu saja yang aku mau, tetapi sangat sulit.                 Aku tidak suka Bahasa Inggris. Nilaiku di SMP dan SMA hanya sekedar rata-rata saja, tidak ada yang bisa dibanggakan.
